What if the private energy companies and the states that have the untapped resources told Barack Hussein Obama to take a hike? What if the states exercised their states rights and began drilling for oil both offshore and on land? What if the coal mines reopened regardless of orders from D.C.? What if natural gas drilling doubled in America? What if states that have access to the necessary water ways began building oil refineries and distribution depots?

If only the governors of our natural resource states had the guts to stand up to Obama and his minions. America's people would be put back to work. The economy would begin to boom, and the states would climb from their bankruptcy positions. Once announcements were made that all these explorations and drilling and mining were being put back in place, the price of foreign oil would drop like a rock. The economy of every country runs on energy, and especially on it's own energy resources. What if America took the lead in energy exploration and development again? Wouldn't it be a wonderful thing?

Where are the Governors whose responsibility it is to keep their people employed and safe? Where is the Association of American Governors? I think it's high time that American States begin looking after what is good for their people, not what's commanded by the Federal Government. As I see it, there are two entity's holding America down, one is the President and his Progressives and the other is the Environmental community. It is the environmental community that has placed the noose around the American worker's neck, and it is the President who keeps tightening the knot. The unions aren't helping matters either, they are not in any way shape or form working for the worker. Any organization that thinks the only way to benefit the worker, is to strangle the life from the employer, is certainly not on the worker's side. It is the Unions, the Federal Government, the Environmental false science that have caused this country to have 10% unemployment, not the corporations and manufacturers. It's high time the members of these unions start to realize that it is the exorbitant wages and entitlements they demand that causes companies to shut down in America and open in China or Mexico. All people deserve to be treated fairly, this is true. Look at it this way, if there were more companies in America, and less able workers, then the companies would have to vie for good dependable employees. The way things are now, it is less expensive for a company to shut down, put its American employees out of work than it is to try to meet Union demands. If you belong to a union, it's time to hold your union leaders responsible for talking you into thinking that corporations have an endless supply of money to pay you. Time to wake up America!!!

Back to energy and the exploration and production of energy. There is of course no doubt that fossil fuels can not and will not last forever, this is a fact. It is also a fact that alternate energies must be explored, experimented with and developed. Believe me, if someone was to discover or develop a viable alternative to oil and coal, the people of this nation would not have to be forced to use it by the Federal government or environmental groups, the people would flock to a fuel source that is more efficient and less expensive. Up till now however, that new viable energy source has not been found. Ethanol will never replace petroleum, Wind Power will not replace coal fire electric power plants, and solar will not replace fossil fuels either. None of these alternative energy sources can replace what we have been using, at least not yet!!! All alternatives must continue to be researched and developed. New and innovative sources must be found, because we are running out of time. But by forcing the scientific and research and development people to use non-viable alternatives, stifles their ability to proceed. We need to be able to utilize our present energy resources to lead us to the energy sources of the future. We cannot survive if we continue to choke the lifeline that feeds the innovation and ingenuity and invention.

Call your Governors, encourage them, embolden them to put America back to work. There is only one way to energy independence, and that is to produce your own energy, and produce it now!

THE JIMMYOMETER, SURPRISINGLY ENOUGH, HE DOESN'T SURPRISE ME!!!

Probably one of the best indicators that America should fear a Muslim Brotherhood takeover in Egypt and America, is the fact the former President Jimmy Carter says "there is nothing to fear from the Muslim Brotherhood". Now there's a RED letter statement if I've ever heard one!!!

Actually, I believe Jimmy's exact words were: " I think the Muslim Brotherhood in not anything to be afraid of in the upcoming (Egyptian) political situation and the evolution I see as most likely. They will be subsumed in the overwhelming demonstration of desire for freedom and true democracy." There is one thing you can always count on Jimmy Carter for, and that's his uncanny ability to be totally wrong about almost everything. There are some underlying frightening things about Jimmy's speech, I guess the most frightening, is the fact that he is speaking to students at the University of Texas. As if the students in America aren't being indoctrinated enough with insane liberal mumbo jumbo, they have to listen to the rantings and ravings of the worst president in American history, at least until Obama. A simple trip through the "Way Back Machine" to view some of Jimmy Carters other foreign policy bunglings and one would realize that this particular former president shouldn't be speaking to anyone about foreign policy, let alone students. During Carter's administration, Iran fell to Muslim extremists, today they are known as the Muslim Brotherhood. That episode in Iran led to the American Embassy hostage crisis, and let's not forget that Jimmy was very jubilant regarding the so-called free and honest elections in Venezuela, you can guess where those led.

Yes, Jimmy Carter is an excellent barometer of foreign policy, a simple calculation is all that is required: Jimmy Carter in favor of it = don't do it!!! How simpler can it get. Jimmy Carter needs to just go home, sit on his porch swing and dream of giant peanuts. His Visa and Passport should be revoked, and as a good measure, he should be placed on the no-fly list. Our current president, Barack Hussein Obama is having no problem bumbling foreign policy all by himself, he really doesn't need the insights from Jimmy Carter to make things worse, if that's possible. An afterthought, the Muslim Brotherhood doesn't require any encouragement from Jimmy Carter either. If there are any reasonably sane conservatives out there in the field of education, please, please keep Jimmy Carter away from the children of the nation.

THIS IS AMERICA, RIGHT? SO, IS THE LAW THE LAW OR NOT???

Someone please explain why Democrats/Liberals/Progressives will only obey Federal Court rulings when the ruling agrees with their agenda. I have always been under the impression, that when a Federal Judge makes a ruling, that that ruling takes precedence and must be obeyed, until a higher court or the highest court in the nation overturns the lower courts ruling. Is that wrong, or are we already living in a Progressive Communist nation?

It appears to me that our President and his administration are paying absolutely no attention to the fact that the Obama Care Bill has been deemed unconstitutional by Federal Judge Vinson (pictured above left). When we consider that at least 26 out of fifty states have filed suit against the Federal Government concerning the constitutionality of many aspects of the Obama Care bill, is there actually any doubt as to the attorney's opinions of those states, that perhaps they are correct, and President Obama and congress are wrong? Also, we must consider the fact that in excess of 700 companies, businesses, congress, federal employees, unions and a couple of states have been granted waivers from implementing Obama Care, an opt-out if you will. The fact that any waivers have been granted brings forth the question: If this plan is so wonderful, why do so many want out of it, and why is the government granting opt-out waivers in the first place?

It is my considered opinion that we are missing some very important points here. For one thing, the Obama Care law is, or should be dead in the water. But is it? It doesn't appear so, as many institutions are implementing the program just as if Judge Vinson never even made his ruling. That my friends bothers me. Ignoring a Federal Judge's ruling, and proceeding with the implementation of a program deemed unconstitutional is nothing less than a complete usurpation of the laws set forth in this country, for all to follow. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't that include our President, our congress, and anyone else falling under the constitution? And isn't the complete disregard of our Constitution, grounds for impeachment? And why hasn't the impeachment process already been started by some Conservative Republicans?

While many states, and congressmen are looking for ways to get out of Obama Care, they should be spending more time stopping the implementation of the Unconstitutional Bill. Has anyone approached Attorney General Eric Holder regarding his obligation to enforce the ruling of Judge Vinson? Has it not come to the minds of anyone, Republican or Democrat or Independent that Attorney General Holder is derelict in his obligation to enforce the law? It has always been my understanding that when a Federal Judge strikes down a law he deems unconstitutional, that ruling must stand until the ruling has been appealed, and overturned by a higher court. In this case, the next higher court, is the highest court. Will Obama, his administration, his minions and his Czars be able to ignore a ruling by the Supreme Court too? Will Americans allow President Obama, Attorney General Holder, and the entire Progressive left to blatantly show that this nation's highest court has become irrelevant? It remains to be seen. From what I have observed from this administration since Judge Vinson's ruling, I would have to say yes. Obama and his Progressives are paying no heed, nor are they giving credence to Judge Vinson's ruling. Like so many other illegal, shading and unconstitutional dealings this administration has taken part in, this one I'm afraid will be no different. Obama and his people are ignoring this, and as always you don't hear much about the blatant disregard for the rule of law on the news. While news sources cover and devote their time to the events in Egypt, the Obama administration continues to press on with their agenda. While America is watching the smoke screen, Obama is working his deceitful and diabolical plans for the demise of America behind the smoke. "Never waste a good crisis", remember that statement. As Americans, we have to watch both of Obama's hands, we cannot afford to be distracted.

So, again I ask you: "Is this still America, a land of laws, a Republic that is governed by the people, or have we already slipped into the Progressive Communist Society where the government controls the people, not the other way around? God Help Us

AMERICA'S DEMISE, A COMEDY OR TRAGEDY, BOTH I THINK!!!

On the left is James Clapper the Director of U.S. Intelligence, on the right we have Joe Biden the Vice President of the United States, and in the center Barack Hussein Obama President of the United States.

Using the name James Clapper, and the word intelligence in the same sentence, should be punishable by caning. If James Clapper ever had a thought of his own, it would the loneliest thing in the world. He reminds me of the Cowardly Lion, he is either so frightened of the Muslim Brotherhood or Obama that he just can't tell the truth, or he is a clueless idiot when it comes to Islam and the goals of the Muslim Brotherhood. I tend to think he is afraid to offend the President and the Imams in America. So afraid in fact, that he was willing to go on national television an make a complete fool of himself. Suffice to say, a 9 year old could access the Internet and find enough condemning evidence to totally debunk any claim the Muslim Brotherhood has to secularism, non-violence, or peaceful coexistence with Israel and Christians around the globe. I guess Mr. Clapper's conscience never said "James Clapper, look it up".

On the right, we have Vice President Joe Biden, America's infamous buffoon, the volcano of ridiculous rhetoric, the stumble bum of the White House. This guy hasn't a clue as to where he is, what he's supposed to be doing, or even how he got there. If someone was to give him a nickname, it would more than likely be Joe "the gaffe" Biden. It is virtually impossible for Joe "the gaffe" to coordinate his thoughts with his speech, and if he weren't the Vice President, it would be funny. But, he is the Vice President and it's not funny, it's pathetic! I think it would be safe to say that President Obama didn't choose Joe Biden for his intelligence and knowledge of foreign and domestic policy. I understand that Joe does play a mean game of tiddly winks, when he's not drawing pictures in the dust particles on his desk. In the center, we have Barack Hussein Obama, the wanna be dictator of the New World Order, the last Caliph of the Islamic Caliphate, he'll settle for either position, but it appears from his actions, he wants both. President of the United States will not carry enough weight in the global scheme of things, once he has destroyed America and all it ever stood for. He thrives on worship from his followers, and surrounds himself with enough mental midgets to bolster his giant ego. Sort of like the man who recognizes his own short comings so he surrounds himself with eunuchs, in order to make himself feel better. The truth is, Barack Obama can't have people in the White House making things tough by simply thinking for themselves. Barack has an agenda and he intends to carry it out. The nice thing about being surrounded by idiots, is that you always have someone to blame if things don't go well. In the eyes of Obama, if you just throw a dummy under the bus, nobody gets hurt. Rest assured, Obama has an entire storehouse of dummies to throw.

Americans, citizens of the world, the new Islamic Caliphate is coming, and like the New World Order, the goal of each is total and complete world dominance. The American people are the last bastion of sanity in the world. The United Kingdom is all but lost to Islam, as is most of Europe. Other countries want to join a New World Order so bad they can taste it. This world is changing, America is changing, and it may be to late to stop it. You can see that the Obama administration is moving ahead with their plans regardless of the Constitution or the law. Point of fact, ObamaCare is being implemented even though it has been found to be UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Obama has deemed both congress and the courts to be irrelevant, and his agenda moves forward. No one in Washington, D.C., is trying to stop it. To this administration, the will of We The People is inconsequential. As Americans, you must prepare for the dire situation that looms on the horizon, or you will be bowing Allah and studying Sharia Law in a few short years. Our President is an apostate of Islam, he is a Socialist Islamist, and regardless of popular opinion, his concern for the preservation of freedom and our republic is not his priority.

America and the world have lost sight and turned their backs on their God and Savior, Jesus Christ. The unending tolerance of false religions, false Gods and false prophets are undeniable proof of this. Once, America was blessed, but we are now a nation steeped in immorality and debauchery. We stand and defiantly shake our fist at the heavens saying we don't need you anymore. Without God, there is no honesty, just look at Washington, D.C.. A nation without God, is a nation doomed to extinction.

WHO PUT THE IRANIAN CITIZEN IN CHARGE OF TENNESSEE'S NUCLEAR FACILITY???

What do these two guys have in common with the center picture? On the left we have Masoud Bajestani and to the right, Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Believe it or not, the man on the left Mr. Masoud Bajestani was just recently fired, (although not admittedly) by the TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority). Does anyone recognize Mr. Bajestani? I didn't either, as a matter of fact I didn't even know that the TVA would actually hire, and put in control of Tennessee's Nuclear Power Plants, a man that hold dual citizenship, Iranian and American. It appears that Mr. Bajestani told a few lies regarding his finances, and sent some substantial dough to relatives in Iran, by substantial I mean close to a million dollars U.S. He was allowed to withdraw $1.5 million dollars from his deferred compensation account in 2007 by claiming a financial hardship, which by the way didn't exist. Mr. Bajestani also fired a TVA employee for blowing the whistle on safety concerns he found and reported them to the TVA, only to be brushed aside. The employee then voiced his concerns to the NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission). After some investigation, the NRC found the employee to be correct. The employee was a lead startup engineer on the first Watts Bar reactor project. He was fired on July 5, 1994 by Bajestani. Bajestani claimed the employee was fired because he had been absent from work, and was no longer needed, and that the employee had used unauthorized overtime. The Department of Labor found otherwise.

What I find disturbing is, how did Masoud Bajestani get hired for the extremely sensitive position as Head of the $2.5 billion dollar nuclear building project at TVA's Watts Bar plant in the first place. What perhaps, should be even more disturbing, is who, I mean what idiot, or group of idiots in the TVA would actually place an Iranian citizen in that position. My question for the TVA is, haven't any of you ever heard of Iran, or Ahmadinejad, or Muslim Brotherhood, or terrorist, or insurgent? Was it Mr. Bajestani's name that threw all of you off? Was there something there that made you think that Iran is, oh... I don't know, a suburb in New Jersey? Suffice to say, there appear to be more than a few unanswered questions. I'm going to drop a few names, perhaps the next time there is a rate hike in Tennessee's and surrounding states who obtain power from the TVA, the energy consumers will at least know who to call or write.

At the risk of putting myself out on a limb, I would say that at least 4 out of these five had something to do with putting an Iranian citizen in control of Tennessee's nuclear facilities. I am hoping that someone has been keeping track of this man's email, phone conversations and money transfers for the past several years. What do you want to bet, no one has any idea what this man has been doing with the sensitive nuclear information he has been privy to all these years, or how much of it he has passed along to his President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Obama’s Blocking Of New Power Plants Triggers Nationwide Blackouts «

Hey, see any smoke coming from those two stacks in the distance? Me either, do you know why? Barack Hussein Obama and his EPA, that's why!!!

Officials at 4 major Texas hospitals are furious over the rolling blackouts implemented by utility companies due to energy shortages. The hospitals, and many other organizations were to be exempted from the blackouts due their emergency status. Obviously someone at the utility company never got the memo. The hospital's that were left scrambling for emergency power were; Parkland, Baylor, Methodist and Presbyterian Dallas. Much to the hospital staff's chagrin, the electricity outages came as a complete surprize. I suppose the utility companies didn't remember that patients who count on life support, really count on the power to run those support systems. It's pretty pathetic that many places in Texas are now depending on Mexico to supply their power. Sounds to me like the Mexican drug cartels should get into the electrical power business, especially now that president Obama has border states purchasing energy from Mexico. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before some cartel leader figures this out. If you think that Texas is the only state that will be subjected to these rolling blackouts, think again. It is the Obama administration's intention to shut down all the coal mines and coal fire power plants. And, oh yes, Obama does know that coal fire power plants provide America with 70% of it's electrical power. However, when your intention is to destroy this country, as is Obama's, coal doesn't matter. Understand that Obama is not concerned with whether you can have heat, or light, he is only concerned with the accomplishment of his Socialist/Progressive agenda.

Think I'm wrong about Obama's plan to destroy America, and control the population, then explain these things:

1.) Why does Obama and his cronies continue to tout Global Warming and production of carbon dioxide as a reason to close coal mines and coal fire power plants, knowing full well that the science behind Global Warming is a scam and has been proven false?

2.) Why is Obama so intent on this oil-drilling moratorium, yet he sends billions our tax dollars to foreign countries so that they can drill in the exact places our domestic oil companies planned to drill?

3.) Why is Obama so intent on America being the only country that does not build new oil refineries, drill for domestic oil both deep water and on land or erect more coal fire power plants? Just a point to ponder here, Mexico and China are building dozens of new power plants every year.

I just think that those are a few questions people need to ask themselves, and seek answers from our legislators. The administration lays much blame on the Environmentalists and their movement. However, when push comes to shove, the president of the United States can ignore the environmentalists at any given time, and push forward on programs that genuinely benefit the American people. Of course that would be true if this was in fact, an environmental problem, but it's not. You know it, I know it and Obama knows it. It's a control thing, period!!!

If Obama is allowed to bankrupt the coal industry (as was his stated intention), then the domestic oil industry, then seize control of the health care industry, the banking industry, and lets not forget the fact that he is burdening the taxpayers with unsustainable entitlements. Talk about killing jobs. No oil, no coal also means no jobs, higher food prices, energy prices and clothing prices, the list goes on and on!!!

To all the legislators, both old and new, government can not create jobs, and it can not create wealth through entitlements. So get off that pony for a minute and stop telling us that your priority number one is creating jobs!!! You can't create jobs, period. Stop the business taxes, equalize the the trade deficit and taxes on goods. Tell Obama and the Al Gores of this country to take a hike, and start handing out some drilling, and mining and exploration permits. Let the private sector create the jobs. Let's start building the refineries to process the petroleum we'll be accessing from the new drilling, allow the construction of new clean coal power plants. Forget the electric cars for now, they will never replace the gasoline and diesel engines, at least not in the near future. Ethanol is a complete bust and waste of time, let America's farmers grow food, not fuel. America and the world's hungry need food to eat, not food to burn.

The shutting down of America's coal fire plants may sound like a wonderful idea and a way to clean up the environment. I am all for clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, but the Global Warming scam is just that, a scam. Man does not cause climate change, man adjusts to the changes in the climate, as we always have. My request of those environmentalists who are living in the bankrupt state of California, come to Minnesota this February move into a nice little place, and turn off your electricity, don't store any fuel oil, and don't burn any trees in the wood stove. Let's see how long you last.

To my friends right here in the great state of Tennessee, you are aware that the TVA is shutting down coal fire power plants, and they will be shutting down more and more of them. When you lose your power for 5 or six hours because the utility company doesn't have enough power to spread around, and your house goes from a comfy 68-70 degrees down to 40 degrees, remember you should have called your legislator. Every state has priorities and priority number is to take care of the citizens of that state. If you are in favor of shutting down coal, then I encourage your neighbors who no longer have heat to come to your house for answers.

I am all in favor of experimenting with alternative power sources. If a scientist comes up with a better and more efficient power source, the government won't have to force people to use it, the people will flock to it. Remember, if the government wants you to do it, or use it, but they exempt themselves and their friends, then believe me you don't want to do it or use it either.
